The Basque Corniche, a major natural area on the Basque coast!

This natural masterpiece of 8 kilometers of verdant cliffs between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees stretches from the end of the Socoa lighthouse to the Hendaye beach. Located at the foot of the Rhune, you can discover the corniche by taking the coastal path. The natural landscapes around the cliffs are magnificent. You will be seduced by the effects of valleys and ridges that offer varied views of the Atlantic Ocean, cliffs and agricultural areas, all with mountains in the background.

During this hike you will see the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Biarritz, Fontarabie, Cap du Figuier and you will cross the magnificent domain of Abbadia.

Every year in September, the Basque Corniche is celebrated and the road is closed to traffic. Animations, games, exhibition and discovery workshops are offered to all. It is the occasion of a walk 100% nature with family or friends!
